my expexctation, and my intrest.
I was born and raised in Chicago, as a child I never really was intrested in going to college, but as I got older, like many of young people, I started to realize that college is a very wonderful place to go. Now that I'm a senoir, It feels as if someone gave me a pair of glasses that I could see my future and the chooses that I make now is going to follow me in the future, so now I think before I make my finale decisions. I have learned that life is full of obsticales and trails, but its up to you as a person to handle the situation like a young adult. I have never been the loud rowdy type, I have always been layed back and calm. There are times that I have lost my head but the young adult in me helped me regroup. Basically what I'm saying is don't over react to a action that is only temparary, because others are watching the way you respond. Back to top
While I was attending grammar school I became fascinated with the diffrent programs and softwares the computer had to offer.It seems as if each day, something new is introduced and there isn't one thing that I have been introduced to that I have not liked.Computers are like my second love, it may sound crazy or strange but it is true. I am now becoming intrested in law and society so I am considering taking some law classes. So I have a back up plan, just in case things don't go through tha way that I entended them to. That is something that I always have, its like an emergency exit. Back to top
I am the middle child, so Im use to having to wait so that my older brother get his stuff first or my younger brother get his stuff first. I am the only girl and growing up I had no other girls in my age group to play with, so I missed out on alot of normal stuff that the avergae girl does. Me and my brothers stayed into an argument, and over things that I laugh about now. We still have our days when we get into dissagreements but they are more straight to the point instead of alot of extra energy being used. Even though we are our ups and downs we still love one another and still look out for one another. People often ask me if I wished I had a sister, and I woul tell them no. I say no because I have otten used to being the only girl and also I don't think that the world is ready for another Latreace. Back to top
I am is a young bright adult that is well mannered and have alot that I want to get done. I just turned 19 so I plan on doing some catching up and getting a good job that will not distract me from my school work because this is the most important year. I have alot of associates that I believe will be there for me if I need them, and vice versa. I love to joke around and act silly at times but I know when to be serious. I love meeting new people and listening to others thoughts and feelings about diffrent topics. I am also a shy quite person, well thats until we get to know each other. If the question was to be asked "Is latreace a real friend?' Many will agree, because a friendship is something that I cherish and value with the upmost respect. True real friends are hard to come by. Once upon a time I felt that everyone that I had a conversation with was my friend, but I learned the hard way that thier not. Back to top
I pretty give any type of music a chance before I say "I don't like it".I wasn't always like this, I just strated to give other grenes a chance. I manly listen to Hip Hop and R&B. In my opinion real music is explaining one's life and all that one had to go through in order to get where they have got. I like love songs and the way the artist express thier feelings through the music and explain the beauty of love and also somethimes the pain of love as well. Right now some of my favorite artist are: Chris Brown, Beyonce, Nelly, Lil Wayne and Ciara. They are some of the hottest artist out. I don't like them because of that reason, I like them because of what the have to say in there music. Back to top
My expectations are high. I have done pretty well for myself and I am going to continue to do well. I am going to college and get some degrees under my belt and travel across the world and explore new things. I am not going to let anything or anyone get in my way, Im very focused and determined to do this. I know that alot of people feel like, Im going to finish high school so that my parents can be proud of me, and there is nothing wrong with that, but finishing high school is going to benefit you more than it will your parents. So I hope that this will encourage others to do well for yourself. Back to top
